DOING SOME RESEARCH
This summer my friend Josh and I have a project we are going to work on. He has a dilapidated garage that stands behind his house, and his father was thinking about tearing it down. Josh and I offered to help build him a new one. They do not keep any of their cars in there. It is really just used for storage. Josh and I looked into it and did some research. We figured we could build a pretty solid garage out of machine aluminum. From all the how to articles and informational websites we found, it seems that it would be easy enough and sturdy enough. We also had to figure out how to make the garage door work. I think that is going to be the hardest part. The rest is really just making sure everything is sturdy enough to hold weight, and stand up against the weather. We do not want it to fall apart if the wind blows too hard or if there is a lot of snow, like there often is in Chicago. His dad has faith in us to do a good job, and I really think that we can do it well.
